Previously, she served as a reporter at WTNH News 8, the ABC station in Hartford, CT, for almost two years where she provided in-depth reporting on the COVID-19 pandemic and its disproportionate impact on communities.
Ferreira served as an associate producer and assignment editor at WJAR-TV from 2016 to 2018 and she was an executive producer at the Afro-Cuba Libre: A Mini-Documentary on Racial Inequalities in Cuba. While there, she provided a documentary on the Cuban Revolution of 1959 which Fidel Castro made closing the wage gap between white and black Cubans a priority which was shot in Havana, Trinidad.
