She graduated from the University of Missouri where she studied broadcast journalism and business. While at Mizzou, she anchored and reported for KOMU 8 News, an NBC affiliate in Columbia, Missouri.
During her junior year, she ventured abroad to Brussels as an intern for Agence-France Presse, an international news wire. During her childhood, she played almost every sport, but they always called her “Hollywood” for her love of theatre.
In high school, she realized her excitement for theatre and performing was only a small piece of the puzzle. It’s storytelling that’s her passion.
Despite having the travel bug, she’s fallen for Kentucky’s horse racing and its Southern charm and is excited to call Louisville home. She was born and raised a Texan, and she likes country music and two-stepping, especially at live music performances.
