Furthermore, Kent was thrilled to return back in her hometown of Portland telling the stories of a community show loves and has reported about numerous national and international issues. She reports across all the stations’ broadcast and digital platforms and before joining the station she reported on a number of natural disasters to hit the United States.
Previously, Kent worked for four years as a reporter for KTVZ NewsChannel 21 in Bend, Oregon, where she covered the deadly Roseburg shooting, the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge occupation, and the devastating Canyon Creek wildfire. Moreover, she was responsible for digging for news stories, shooting videos, writing stories, and editing packages while there.
Kandra served as a marketing assistant for Compton Union Building at Washington State University where she designed. Further managed advertisements, and developed and led marketing campaigns in August 2011.
