Jon Scott is an American television news anchor who currently serves as an anchor of FOX Report which mainly airs on Weekends at 6 PM/ET and is the lead anchor for any breaking news each weekend. Scott is part of the original anchor team at FOX News Channel, having joined two months before it was launched. Prior to joining FOX News, Scott worked for Dateline NBC as a correspondent and he was awarded an Emmy Award for news writing.
Scott began his journalism career as an anchor and a reporter at stations in Denver and Miami. Throughout his career, Scott has gone into the field to cover events ranging from hurricanes and floods to war in Afghanistan, space shuttle launches, and royal weddings.
