John Ruttle is an award-winning- Canadian multi-skilled journalist, news anchor, senior news producer, and assignment editor who currently serves at CTV News Ottawa where he contributes content to television, radio, and digital platforms. He joined the station in April 1994 and is currently in charge of the flagship news program CTV News at 6 and has been in local news for more than 30 years.
Furthermore, Ruttle spent most of his career at the station, as a news reporter where he reported on some extraordinary stories. Among them include Ice Storm ’98, the Devastating floods of 2017 and 2019, and the 2018 tornadoes that struck Dunrobin, Ottawa, and Gatineau.
