Greg McElroy is an American journalist, football commentator, and former quarterback in the National Football League where he was drafted by the New York Jets of the National Football League in the 7th round of the 2011 NFL Draft. McElroy won numerous awards including winning a Texas 5A state championship for Southlake Carroll and being named an EA Sports All-American. Currently, Greg serves as a college football analyst for Saturday games on ABC/ESPN where he was hired in 2014 as an analyst for SEC Network. Further, collaborated with Marcus Spears for the launch of Thinking Out Loud.
He also served as an analyst for ABC and ESPN’s coverage of the XFL in 2020 teaming up with play-by-play commentator Steve Levy and Dianna Russini.
