Dave Kinchen is an American journalist, anchor, co-anchor, and general assignment reporter who joined FOX 29 News team in October 2011 and following a two-year stint in public administration, he rejoined the station in August 2021. He left his duties in 2019 to serve the citizens of Philadelphia in the executive branch of city government as a communications manager for the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Cabinet, Criminal Justice, and Department of Prisons.
Additionally, Dave served as a spokesman for Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney and wrote speeches and statements for him and the administration. He also prepared city council testimony and policy documents for senior administration officials and assisted in the development of the Office of Policy and Strategic Initiatives for Criminal Justice and Public Safety.
