Pointing to her left forearm, she explained that is a coin straight from the moments of Queen Arwa of Yemen, one of the Middle East’s first female rulers.
Explaining more, she said Queen Arwa’s husband passed on and she took over the throne. Further was known to be very strict and wise. On the same arm, are a lion and the snake-dragon on Babylon’s gates of Iraq because she obviously takes more time in Iraq. Pointing to the Turkish evil eye, Arwa revealed she has a personal connection to it.
Showing the tops of her fingers, Damon disclosed the tattoo is the name of her nonprofit in Arabic, which she got tattooed prior to launching the nonprofit in order not to allow herself to give up. Pointing to another which is Moroccan Henna designs, she explained drawing the tattoo because she was raised in Morocco and her father and mother met there.
Pointing to the right arm where there are black lines Arwa said she liked the way they appeared though, in the Middle East, you put on a black band in case someone dies. Also added that she has a big one up her leg. It’s a henna tattoo.
