Andy North is an American professional golfer, golf analyst, and broadcaster. He had three wins on the PGA Tour including the U.S. Open twice and he has served ESPN since September 1992. North currently serves as both an analyst and reporter in ESPN’s championship golf coverage as well as an analyst for ESPN’s preview shows and SportsCenter report from major tournaments. Additionally, he turned a professional golfer in 1972 at his university graduation from the University of Florida where he was a three-time- America he also played in the Ryder Cup (1985) and the World Cup (1978).
Andy won the PGA Tour’s 1977 Westchester Classic and also played full-time on the PGA Tour until 1992 when various injuries limited his performance and participation and he moved into the broadcasting career.
